David grew up in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington. After college, David came on staff with Cru. While on a summer mission trip with them he met the love of his life, Alicia. Alicia grew up in Louisiana and graduated from LSU. After dating long distance they married and moved to Houston. For the past 16 years they have lived in Houston and have 5 children from ranging in ages from 4 to twelve. They have loved making Houston their home and being involved in the lives of college students! David says, "In college, God changed my life, and ever since then I've wanted to see others have that same opportunity. I love being around college students because things are always moving and changing in their lives and it is even more fun when you get to see God in the midst of all that!"
