Mark serves as CEO of SailPoint, a high-growth enterprise software company, focused on the identity management market. He has built a successful track record of growing and building companies. Prior to SailPoint, he co-founded Waveset in 2000, which was acquired in 2003 by Sun Microsystems. Prior to co-founding Waveset, he served as VP marketing for Tivoli Systems, as well as various sales and marketing roles at IBM and HP.

Mark graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1984 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Economics and continued his education at UCLA, attaining a Master of Business Administration in 1992.

​

His leadership roles in the community include serving as moderator for the Board of Elders at Grace Covenant Church; past president of TeXchange Austin; chairman of the Austin Technology Council; and co-founder of Austin Software CEO Group.

​

Mark has been happily married to his wife Marjorie for 29 years and has three great kids, two great kids-in-law, and one amazing granddaughter. He is a native Californian, so he doesn’t own a cowboy hat, but has been known to wear boots on special occasions.
